Home Sales in North Liberty are up in September and down 7% for the quarter. 189 Homes Sold in North Liberty July – September 2014 compared to 205 in the same time frame in 2013. This is my third quarterly market report this week and they all have one thing in common – Home Sales are up in September in all three areas – Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty. The lack of inventory of homes on the market has been the biggest factor for lower home sales this year. That might be changing as we head towards Fall. That’s not to say we’re not short on inventory in North Liberty, but clearly more buyers were able to find what they were looking for in a home or home sales wouldn’t be up in September!
