Home Sales in Coralville are up 14% in the 3rd Quarter. 130 Homes Sold July – September 2014 compared to 114 in the same time frame in 2013. September is the month that jumps out the most with the number of homes sold almost double compared to September 2013. We are woefully lacking in inventory of homes on the market in Coralville. I’m sure home sales would be stronger if buyers had more choices and could find what they were looking for. There are currently just 93 homes listed as active on the Iowa City MLS in Coralville. I’ve been creating these market reports for about five years now and this is the first time I see active listings dip this low at this time of the year. To put that statement into some kind of perspective, there were 120 active listing on the MLS in this market snapshot for Coralville from September 2013.
