How is real estate market doing in North Liberty? Last week I looked at the market in general and Home Sales and Home Prices in North Liberty. Today I’m breaking it down to types/styles of homes sold in North Liberty in the first half of 2015 to see where the strongest sales are.

The North Liberty real estate market remains “hot” with home sales up for the year for all types and styles of homes. The biggest increase is in condo sales up 33%. North Liberty is very popular with condo buyers looking for more affordable options. The highest price condo sold in the first half of 2015 in North Liberty was $176,000. The lowest priced condo was $70,250. There is more information about the average and median price of condos in the table below.

Single family home sales in North Liberty also saw a good increase in numbers with home sales up almost 29% for the year. Only 35 of the 139 single family homes sold in North Liberty in the first half of 2015 were under $220,000. This isn’t great news for buyers looking for a lower priced options. Fortunately there are a growing number of zero lot style homes in North Liberty that are becoming more and more popular with buyers looking for the independence of single family home living without the high price tag.
