Yesterday the postcard below was mailed to neighborhoods around my listing, 755 Berkshire Ln, North Liberty. Online I’ve got it covered. This is just little tech savvy me adding another layer to an already extensive marketing plan… Why Postcards and not a “just listed” letter or an ad in the newspaper? Mainly because it gives me the ability to include photos. (I don’t know about you, but I’m hard pressed to think of anyone who reads a newspaper anymore anyway). Photos create the first impression a potential buyer will get of your home and it’s important to make a good first impression! Every photo I use online or offline needs to contribute to making your house appealing to a potential buyer. Take a look at the full listing for this home on a single property website and you’ll see just how I accomplish that.
As a side note, a postcard may seem a little out of place considering my goal at Cardinal Realty is to create a paperless environment. This was something I had to compromise with myself on. This is a UV covered card stock. It’s aqueous (water based) and can be recycled, (unlike laminate coated cards that are not recyclable).
